Hi there, if you have landed on this page, we are guessing that you are either lost, or want to know more about us. We assume it’s the latter. So here we go:

We are the Prasetyos, a simple family consisting of Arief Prasetyo; Arida Permata Prasetyo and Ariyazka Bilal Prasetyo (just born! :) ). We originate from Jakarta, Indonesia. For the past months, our lives have changed drastically. We used to work 8-5 and go through the chaotic Jakarta traffic. Then Arief decided to go for a career change, from banking to the oilfield services industry, which demanded high mobility. Arida decided to leave her job as an IT engineer, and followed wherever Arief would go. We have now landed in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. A couple of months later, due to several reasons (mentioned in the blog), we decided it was best for Arida to come back to Indonesia during her last weeks of pregnancy. And not long later, Azka was born into our wonderful, hectic life.

Like any married couple, we go through a bunch of events. Travels, fights, romance, distance, decision-making, pregnancy, boredom, discussions on movies, music, politics (??? :P), you name it. Some of them were bad, but most of them were really good.

We are a young family. And this blog will be the place where we keep and share memories (yes, including crappy ones) of our journey. So we do hope that you enjoy your stay.
